Continuum Wind Energy has awarded
India’s Inox Wind a wind turbine order that is one of the largest ever
in India for a single project. The deal calls for 85 units of Inox
Wind’s newly launched 2MW wind turbine with 100 meter rotor diameter, a
variant of its established 2MW wind turbine platform.

solutions providers, will also be responsible for building and
commissioning and oversee operations and maintenance of the project.Inox Wind chief executive officer Kailash
Tarachandani believes, “This is a landmark order that underscores our
competitive positioning across the highly competitive and growing Indian
wind market. With a focus on technology and customer centricity, we
have launched this new product for our clients who can achieve optimum
energy yield with lower wind speeds.” Company director Devansh Jain also
notes, “Inox’s 100 meter rotor diameter turbine is expected to be a
game changer in the wind industry in India. We continue to leverage our

provider in India.”
