Residents of the town of Stratford are invited to attend an Energy
Town Forum hosted by the Energize Connecticut partners where attendees
will hear about programs and financing alternatives for energy
efficiency and renewable (e.g. solar) energy projects at their homes and
businesses.The free event for the public will be Monday, June 23, 6:30 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers at Town Hall.
The program will include case studies of Connecticut residents who
reduced their heating and electric bills through energy efficiency,
renewable energy, and natural gas.
Representatives from the Connecticut Department of Energy and
Environmental Protection, Connecticut Light & Power, Yankee Gas, the
Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority, along with State
Representatives Laura Hoydick and Terry Backer, and State Senators Kevin
Kelley and Andres Ayala are expected to attend.
