The latest round of bidding for solar projects under the Jawaharlal
Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) has attracted an overwhelming
response from solar project developers, bids were received from 68
companies for 122 projects for a total of 2,170 MW, against the
allocation target of 750 MW.
Total : 2170 MW Domestic Content Requirement ( DCR ): 700 MW Open: 1470 MW
Bids received under the DCR were approximately twice the
capacity of projects to be allotted under DCR i.e. 375 MW. The total capacity of the projects which would be allotted
would be 750 MW both under DCR & Open category. The detailed list of all
the solar developers / bidders and the capacity quoted by them in each
category under JNNSM Phase II Batch I is mentioned as below :
How much Viability Gap Funding (VGF) each bidder has asked for will be known when the Corporation opens the financial bids.
